Last updated: March 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Passmed. By accessing the platform you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Passmed Pte. Ltd. ("Passmed", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or subscribing to any Passmed service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Passmed. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable subscription fees, Passmed grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Passmed platform and its content solely for your own personal, non-commercial exam preparation purposes.
This licence does not include any right to resell, reproduce, copy, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content on the platform. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Passmed.
3. Account Registration & Security
To access the platform you must register using accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not share your account credentials with any third party. Passmed actively monitors for concurrent or suspicious logins and reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts exhibiting such behaviour without notice or refund.
You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Each subscription provides access to one question bank for the chosen duration. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable. Payment is due at the point of purchase and processed securely by our payment provider.
Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at checkout. Renewals must be initiated by the user prior to expiration and apply only to the subscribed course. Unused time within a subscription period is non-refundable except as set out in Section 5.
Passmed reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect subscriptions already purchased.
5. Free Trial
New users are entitled to one 7-day free trial with access to 50 questions per exam bank. One free trial per person. Passmed reserves the right to revoke free trial access where abuse is suspected.
No credit card is required to start a free trial. After the trial period, access will expire unless a paid subscription is purchased.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first paid subscription payment. To request a refund, contact [email protected] within 14 days with your account email and reason for the request.
Refunds will not be issued after 14 days, for renewals, or where a subscription has been terminated for a breach of these Terms. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Passmed platform to:
(a) copy, reproduce, screenshot, record, share, publish, or transmit any question, explanation, or other content from the platform in any form or by any means; (b) share your account credentials with any other person; (c) use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract content; (d) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the platform; (e) upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code; (f) impersonate any person or entity; (g) use the platform in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination without refund, and Passmed reserves all rights to seek legal remedies.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Passmed platform — including but not limited to questions, explanations, images, analytics, algorithms, software, and branding — is the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Passmed Pte. Ltd. and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The names of third-party boards and examinations (e.g., ABA, ABIM, ABFM, NBME) are the property of their respective owners, who are not affiliated with Passmed. Use of these names is solely for descriptive purposes.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PASSMED PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Passmed does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantee that all content is current, complete, or error-free. Passmed is an educational revision tool and does not constitute medical advice. It should not be used as a basis for clinical diagnosis or patient management.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PASSMED INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Passmed in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Passmed Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
12. Modifications to Service
Passmed reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
In the unlikely event that Passmed permanently discontinues a service for which you hold an active subscription, you will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the remaining unused subscription period.
13. Account Termination
Passmed may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, Passmed, or third parties.
Upon termination, your licence to use the platform ceases immediately. You will lose access to your account and all associated data. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Export Restrictions
The Passmed platform may not be accessed or used by persons in countries subject to applicable US export restrictions or sanctions, including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Sudan.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
